General

When do we pay?

Like most subscription plans we bill at the start of each month for services delivered that month. If you are using our subscription billing service we will automatically charge your account so you don't have to worry about it.

If you are opting for the monthly invoice we will require payment within 2 weeks of the invoice date.

Is there a limited number of proposals we can get you to review?

No, your subscription allows you to send as many to us as you need.

Can we have any number of people from our company contact you?

Yes. You can have as many people as you need have access to us. In your on-boarding you can nominate as many or as few to have the ability to leverage the service. We do suggest that you initially limit it to IT and other team leads to ensure no cross communication or double handling. Once you get used to this way of working then expand.

Can we communicate with you outside of just email?

Yes, we don't restrict it to purely email as we know that isn't the best medium for every situation. We actually encourage you to call your advisor directly as it will cut down the time to get to the outcome.

What is the turn around time for proposal reviews?

There isn't a solid answer on this one as every proposal will have differing levels of complexity. What we will always commit to is getting a response to you within 24 hours with timeframes to complete the task.

Will you really turn around all day to day enquiries in 24 hours?

For all basic enquires we definitely will. Where the request requires more market research, analysis or our internal teams to workshop an answer etc. we will give you a time frame to get the answer within 24 hours of the request being sent through.

Business Technology Assessment

How long will it take to complete?

We will always provide a more accurate estimate for completion time at the start of the engagement. Some key factors this is dependant on are how quickly we receive the documentation from you for phase 1 and how soon we can book in interviews with the relevant staff we identify for phase 2. Assuming that we are both efficient in this part of the process we expect this to take about 2 weeks. 

If we take the free assessment with the 6 month commitment will the subscription start while you are doing the assessment?

We are flexible here. You have the option to start it once we hand over the assessment, on the other hand if you know your teams need the support straight away we can run both in parallel.

Do we have to take the assessment to use your service?

Short answer is No. What we do advise all our clients is that without the assessment it will lower the overall value from your subscription. This is because we don't have context from day 1 but also your first 6 month review will miss some of the detail as we don't have the starting point. (see the Half year Review section of this FAQ for more detail)

Technology Transformation and Advisory

Will you write our board packs?

No, our service is an advisory one aimed to enable you with the insight to do the work. However once you have the foundation written we will review all the elements that require our technology guidance and provide insight, feedback and corrections to ensure that it's properly articulated and positioned for board review.

Can we request a Video/Tele conference to talk with you?

Definitely! We ask where possible to give us a heads up as to what you need from us. We can adequately prepare so you get the most value from it.

We are planning a strategy day, can you attend?

If your organisation is located in one of the cities we have a physical presence (at this stage Melbourne) we can be present (at our discretion and availability) but request that a specific portion of the day be allocated to technology for us to be in attendance for.

Will you create our documentation from scratch?

Short answer is No. Our service is an advisory one aimed to enable your people with the insight to do the work. What we do offer is to review anything created, provide comments and edits to ensure that the output is hitting the mark and creating value for your organisation.

Half Yearly Review

How will you conduct the review​?

For most cases it will require your dedicated advisor to be onsite for a half day to have face time with some key people. The rest will be done off site leveraging out platforms.

How long will it take to complete?

As long as we get the time on site with your people (or virtual where co-ordinating becomes hard) we will get it to you during the first week after that 6 month period. We are able to do it so quickly because are consistently collecting and analysing information from our daily interactions to inform this review.

What will the review look like if we didn't take the assessment at the start?

If you have reached our 6 month assessment milestone and subscribed for that entire period we will conduct the assessment at this point for you at no charge! As a loyal customer thats the least we can do.

In this case the review will take about 2 weeks to complete and the exact delivery date will depend on when we start the work. For more detail on whats involved with this see the "Business Technology Assessment" section of the FAQ.

White Papers and Newsletter

How often are white papers released?

This is ad hoc. We keep a keen eye on the markets to make sure we catch anything of note and write one up when we do. But if there is something that you have seen and think needs our attention let us know. We will get the right expertise on the case to get one written up.

How do we access the white papers?

You will get access to our portal which will have easy to follow links to our white papers page. But when we create new ones we will send you an email with the notification to make sure you don't miss anything. 

Billing

How do we pay for the subscription?

We are a flexible as we know each organisation will have different rules. Our preferred approach is a subscription billing model leveraging a credit/debit facility (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX). But if this doesn't work for you we will send out a monthly invoice to you.

How do we cancel our subscription?

Just send your consultant at ATECA an email advising you want to cancel your subscription and we will action it. We do require 2 business days notice for any subscription cancellations.
